First of all, I want to apologize for 'ruining' the originality of the image. As i said before, most of Amano's pics are illustrated. You can see the image from DREAM's gallery. I got it from there.

I try my best to keep the original but in the end I had to smudge the hair. And I know it's kind of sloppy ^_^'. The bg consists of trees and I add in winterly atmosphere.

Hope you like it. Enjoy ;).

okay i must make two suggestions before i comment on your wall.

    1) whenver you submit a wall you MUST sign it. for some unknown reason you haven't signed this particular wall. remember your wall is more than just a 1024x768 bitmap image.. it is a reflection of your interpretation of Yoshitaka Amano's artwork and more importantly it represent you- and no-one else. so please sign your walls..

    2) always try to reference the original artwork you used as a basis. my scan can be found here.

your wall: i must admit i really like the bg's you have developed on the last two Amano walls. also her "purple-ish" hair looks great.

i have 2 minor criticisms. the extraction - there are pieces of white still in her hair. as i am relatively new at walling myself i know how hard Amano-san art is to extract well. i suggest you try the pen tool.

lastly; i think having a font with the wall's title to the top left would have been ideal.

keep walling Hanazaki you are doing good work. ;)

This is a really nice picture, you did a really nice job with it! It's so simple but not...its sharp but blurry and it looks really good! Keep up the good work!

Well, for the the start I like your choice of colours. The background is not very complicated, but original and fitting the image well. The extraction could be better, that is for sure. Oh, and blurring her hair together with the background was a nice idea. A good job, overall.
