Your Kunie wall is great love how you were able to do WAY more hair than me (~_^) and I'm a big fan of the Grungish look!

Here is my entry for the ARETE III contest hosted by MapleRose.
We were to use this scan in any way we want it. Just as long the scan's still recognizable.
So, I decided to tilt her a bit so that I can make full use of her wonderful hair. I extended her arm and body a bit. After vectoring her, I wasn't really sure of what to do with it. So I asked my sister on what would be nice to do with it. Well, she said, "Why not make as if birds were escaping out of her? Like "breaking away" or something? And so, I used that concept and worked on my wallpaper.
For this one, I decided that a paper texture would work nicely (since I really love paper textures and it fits most of Kunie's artworks. LOL) At first, I really felt that the wall was somehow incomplete, even with all the birds and paint splatters. So, I decided to re-VAMP my wall before submitting it here in MT and at AP. I added some grunge textures plus a touch of red-orange-gold colors. It's not everyday that you see a Kunie Kanbara wall that's been made into a dark and grungy wall. So, here it is! ^^v

I do like the grunge, colour version! I do think, however, that the big grunge blotch in the bottom right hand corner should be a lot lighter or be removed, it's a bit distracting.
Nice additions overall though. :)

Grunge! Grunge everywhere! And Kunie Kanbara's art! This is a wonderful match :) Love the small edits you did on her hair, and the concept your sister suggested is really original.
