Yay for over 60 wallpapers in the Kunie gallery! =D

Title and concept inspired by the "Coke Side of Life" ad campaigns. Kunie's art, especially ones in ECHO are all so full of life, joy, and colour, and I want to represent that in this wallpaper.

The silhouettes are taken from other Kunie scans

Splatters and the swirlies are from Illustrator brushes, and some Vector packs from FreeVectorStock.com . The font is called "Texture Road", from Dafont.com

And yay for dual screen! This is so that stuff can actually fit. The normal widescreen versions are different in terms of design; I had to remove stuff and move things around to make things fit.

I can't wait to see the entries of Arete III! You have about a month left!

oh, and yes to all you Americans, I spell "colour" with a "u" XD

Wow, now this really looks dynamic! I'm usually not attracted to random splatter walls, but it just jumped at me when I saw it on the front page! Thank you for using duller colours, it makes the whole composition easier on the eye (and the icons distinguishable lol).

I kind of have a small gripe about this, though. I like the concept and, as far as I remember from the commercial, your interpretation is very close to it, but I can't help wanting a bit more shine. I get that you wanted to make it look more "retro", but it would have looked good that way too. Nevertheless, I'm happy with this version, the thing before was merely a suggestion and not an order 8d

And indeed, yay for dual screen! I don't know how many people actually use it, but it's a great excuse to stuff more things in :D And the Kunie gallery is really big by now, I visited it expecting to find at most 20 walls and found a lot! @_@

This kind of wallpaper is exactly that I like more! So colurfull and really clean, balanced and with good effects putted with reason. I mean this is perfect on its every part. Hope this could be added on Elite! Added on my favs, clearly!

while i love how dynamic and spontaneous your vectoring and typography is, i somehow feel the colors are too brilliant in the background and dont offer enough differentiation around the character. perhaps less further away from the CO would help balance it out
somehow feel like the txt should be white too :)

This is so full of life! I love the sense of movement in the brushwork and the silhouettes, and of course your vector of the Kunie scan is amazing...over all I adore this. I just wish I still had a dual screen set up so I could use it! <3 for Kunie!

A colourful explosion of joy. Yes, that's how I would describe your wallpaper, and that's exactly why I love it, especially now that November has come :P (you are from Canada, you know how depressing this month can be!).

I must thank you, because you made me discover Kunie Kanbara's wonderful art... and because of this ode to life that is your wallpaper.
