One Piece is my all-time favorite anime/manga, and it has a special place in my heart. It totally kicks Naruto, Bleach and [insert other anime name here]'s asses. This is what a true story should be like. Oda-sensei - thank you. Just, really. Thank you <3
I actually started out wanting to wall Luffy (since he's my all-time favorite character), but since finding a scan
that doesn't have Luffy looking or doing something stupid is near-impossible, I decided to wall Nami since
she's kick-ass and coolio.
That, and I'm getting tired of always seeing Code Geass wallies on the front page D:
Ok, so the wall:
Vectored/painted Nami from this
scan (I actually got the scan from AP, but since AP has like, 204720840284204 pages of One Piece scans, and I
don't remember what page I got it from, I uploaded it on ImageShack).
The wave design was from this image
that I got on Google.
Kimono pattern from gimei@devART.
Everything else is done by hand.
Time: 3 days
Layers: 65 for the wallpaper, a lot for the vector
Textures from DA! and DevART (but I don't
remember from who, sorry!)

OMG! This gotta be one of the best One Piece wallpaper I've seen!
Anyways... I couldn't help but stares at those waves design.. It's so beautiful! Added the textures, it look like nishiki-e! Oh, love those pattern on Nami kimono's too!

Oh my goodness! I must say that this wallpaper is one of very exceptional quality. You've done an amazing job of putting this together. Starting with vectoring Nami and giving her kimono a new look and doing a really good job with the with the overall coloring of the vector itself. It also just seems like you found a way to put all of your resources itself, and the overall result is simply too great for words.
This is clearly a wallpaper I'll be using from time to time. I'm glad I decided to do a look for One Piece wallpapers at this time, and you've definitely hit the spot with this. Give yourself a pat on the back for me, will ya? :D

I can just stare at the waves design all day long. This is so nice! All the textures, colors and images combined. All the precise details like lighting, shadow and angles. Simply beautiful. Great work!

This is so nice, I totally like the feeling it gives, the colors are the best choice for a wallpaper, being mostly warm, so it's not tiresome to loot at it all day. The whole scene it's just beautiful. Great combination of pictures.

Ooh, very nice. ^_^ Very calm and peaceful.
But there's some weirdness... like,
Confused light source: Nami's shadow... shouldn't it be behind her from the lantern instead of on the screen?
and also, the perspective on the mats doesn't match the wooden floor or the table thingy.Other than that, I like it, and I love the way you incorporated the wave picture onto the screen. Is cool.

I gorgeous OnePiece Wallpaper! I love you, Chloe-chan! I'm glad I'm not the only person tired of seeing Code-Geass one the front page everytime I log in ^_^'
I have to say, even though I love what I have seen of OnePiece, I've never been much of a fan of the art when it comes to making wallpapers, but you've made one that I'm seriously thinking about putting on my desktop, (and I just changed my icons to an Asian theme! It must be a sign! XD ) The lighting makes the piece very dramatic, and since I'm I a huge fan of textures you've made my day. This is definitely one of the best (or really THE best) OnePiece wallpaper that I've seen.
