awww...how pretty! I really like her blue hair, it looks so pretty! Her face look like the original ones a lot. Very well done!

Wow it's beautiful! I lvoe the colour choices, fits well with her expression. And wonderful vectoring job, I love the subtle shading on her skin. The pattern in teh background is a nice subtle touch as well. I prefer the non-textured version, 'cause it feels fresher and cleaner ^__^

    nice work!

Normally I don't like texture versions of walls and prefer the "basic", simple version... but imho in this case the texture is fitting.... it looks really pretty :)
It reminds me a little bit of the Galaxy Express 999 Artwork :) (which is good imho)
500 Layers? Holy cow, how can you keep track of things with so many Layers? That's admirable :)

  9. IzumiChan Aug 23, 2007

    Wow, cool~ >w<
Nice work on her hair, I loved the falling strands near her face~ :D
    Good job! :)

ah Lady Arya3087 i noticed this in the galleries and wondered what the wall would look like at full resolution. as teyemanon noted i also immediately thought of Leiji Matsumoto after seeing her facial expression.

the Amano artwork is one of my favourite works of his and i love your interpretation. it is truly the rare artwork than has been so freshly interpreted so many times. i am partial towards the non-texture version.

All the blue makes the character look like a snow goddess, cold and insensitive, then again her expression and the painting-like effects definitely soften that feeling.

  12. anaye Aug 25, 2007

i love the blue colors ... so beautiful ... she reminds me of a mermaid ... nicely done

  13. Piccolobear Aug 26, 2007

Nice vectoring, from the thumbnail you'd swear it was painted. ^_^

  14. MoonFangs90 Aug 27, 2007

  15. DarthTofu Aug 31, 2007

wow, took me long enough to see this. xDDD
    It's beautiful.
It looks like Leiji Matsumoto to me too. I love both him and Amano so it's all good!

    And of course, blue!

  16. gaara-no-shukaku Sep 08, 2007

Simply love the subtle shading. And it's good to see something fully vectored like this. Great job overall! ;)
