I wanted to make this wallie because...... Saber is wearing a suit o_0

The scan was kinda crappy so I cleaned it up a bit..... Saber wearing a suit from Fate/Zero novel....

The bg was a picture of Yokohama city..... I think and used this and that affect (I don't remember)....

Layers: about 20

Took about 5 or 6 hours to make

The lightening in the Bg is a brush from this site
http://www.photoshoproadmap.com/Photoshop-downloads/Brushes//Most-popular/1/

And for the text, I didnt' know how to design it, so I just visited a tutorial site....

I have a feeling that something is weird or missing in this wallie but I'm too tired to keep working on it and I have no more idea left.....

Criticism please~

this is what you said bad? its not bad at all, vatican92!
    its nice. :D really.
    just some advice:
    1. the background kinda not really match, you should change its color to softer one, it hurt my eyes lol
    2. maybe you should change saber to the ground, and then make the effect on the sky, so that it would looks like a scenic wallpaper, and it will be nice i think! :D
    3. the effects are too many! the lightning... i think its going to have a storm soon LOL xD

anyway, as rive said on the group page, keep on trying! this will improve your walling skill, and never get tired to ask other's advice :D

Yes I agree everything with Ka-chan.
It's not at all a bad wall! If you keep on putting yourself down, you won't be able to improve! So here's a start:
-Try to have a more suitable, matching font. Even though the font's pretty awesome, it'd be nice to have it a matching color similar to the background. The blue makes it stand out too much.
-The background can use a bit of work. It's too blurry comparing to the scan. And like what Ka-chan said, change the background color to a softer one. It's too bright. XD
-It's best not to use an outerglow on your character. It makes the character stand out way too much, making everything else insignificant and unmatching. Try to lower the opacity of the glow. I think it would look better afterwards. :)

If you have any questions whatsoever, don't be hesitant to ask any of us. I hope you understand what I'm trying to say all here. You can definitely do it! :D

    hey some comments here:

make the colors match, the color scheme would have been great if you had removed the green behind the text (that color does not really match her eyes or anything else in the wall)

she seems to be in the air, (make her stand on something, pretend she is part of the wall not just a sticker someone stuck on)

too much lighting in the back tone it down a bit. well over all its a good wall, hope i was not to harsh

:hmpf: i kinda agree with the others. The colors on the background is not matching with the scans, plus they are very intense and they hurt the eyes ... and i think it will be a good idea to put her stand on something! ;)
But i like the effects you have use and overall the idea was good! ;)
    Keep trying! :)
