I've always loved bittersweet, pretty images and so it was only natural I liked this shot from the moment I saw it. :D Fate/Stay Night (and Fate/Hollow Ataraxia) has such nice character designs. ^^ Actually, I'm not sure which of the two series this character comes from, so if anyone knows, feel free to enlighten me. XD
The background was created entirely from manipulating stock images of houses and a moon. I made sure to pay particular attention to the lighting in the original image, and added some extra mist effects for good measure.
Her expression makes me want to reach out and hug her. ^^
