BEFORE YOU GO AND GAPE THAT THIS IS A WONDERFUL DOUJINSHI OF A CUTE GIRL, THINK AGAIN.
This is NOT doujinshi. This is a WALLPAPER. What you are looking at is a vector... or what I would call a digital sketch.

Misa: Dedicated to showing you something DIFFERENT since July 05
That'll be my quote thanks. Onto the wall.

I have no black and white wallpapers! :o
Here we go :D

http://members.mpx.com.au/ayacigar/coordlegion.gif

Technique- I shortened this. "DIGITAL SKETCHING" all fill paths no stroke paths involved. All done by a mouse on the computer so it's not a doujinshi or filter effect. BTW digital sketching is my own term. Copy and you'll be shot :P

PSD STATS:
Size: 11.6 MB
Layers: 15 <-- that being I put most of my lines eg. dress on one layer.
Time taken: 5 days *amused* so it wasn't a week. Felt like a lifetime @_@

It's small, but heck. It was a lot of work.

Music: was mixed... I'm in an UBER happy mood though... I got Hirai Ken's new single and I love it <3 :D [listened to it on repeat for a few hours already]

The name I had a mental block so I asked Keltosh to help me out. After being called evil and given three options I picked one ;__; and I forgot to say thank you as well (maybe I am evil :( ... wait... I knew that >_>) So I extend a BIG THANK YOU to Keltosh for naming this for me ... it was too hard to name >_<

PS: I rarely tell people to download... but for this one... please full view... the details can't be seen in a tiny thumb! ;) This has got to be one of my favourites... for a LONG time I haven't really made anything I loved a lot (well, W.A.R3 I love... but you'll see that next week XD)

... and yes I cheated with the lace and I gave her some plastic surgery >_>;
PS: didn't change her eyes cuz the Adumi style has no eyelashes. If I added them on, it wouldn't be Adumi anymore.

Kuroimisa ^^ You certainly did it. A masterpiece. This is the most amazing wall I have seen in some time. The digital sketch is the thing. You really overcome your skills with every new submission :D I am more and more curious of your future ones. This one is simply glorious. The sketch style make it delicately elegant. As you said it yourself it is far from crowded but nevertheless it is very detailed (all those paterrns O_O;). It deserves a highlight XD *highlights*

I love it Misa, really georgous and I haven't seen anything like it before :) . Stamps 'Original' on it, and I'll keep a look out for WAR3 next week.

*Remember nobody is truly evil just 'misunderstood' XP *

amazing piece of work indeed. the work load you described almost scared me to death, i praise you for coming through it all, MT needs more great wallers like you.
This one is just plain...amazing, i cannot have any other words than to say Godly, this is Godly.
first, i see Digital Sketching is just plain hard, i bet that is nothing compare to my Black and White simple-based walls, (although i do spend lots of time doing them), i think this has a whole new definition to vectoring and making a black and white wall, so i congratulate you on that.
This piece is just plain wonderful, from the clear lines, to the beautiful trace of the entire character, there is no error, no flaws. clean and simple yet a sense of sophisticated xomplexity like no other.
A fav for this and yes, you deserve the best awards. maybe W.A.R. should give you the title for best waller.

Ah this is wonderful. I look for pencil work everywhere and this is, yes i agree, fantabalous. You've pointed out all its strenghts for me and any weaknesses (which i don't see by the way) are totally overpowered by your effort. I woud like to challenge you with this. It will help my skills to have done a piece of work as wonderful as this. I will try my best, i hope u catch a look at it when i complete it but first! I must start looking for ideas, you've inspired me, Adumi Tohru! This is a (once again) great, awesomely good, work :)

AWSOME DRAWING! gosh...i wish i could draw like that! *^-^* THANK U 4 SHARING!

  13. Shkira Nov 25, 2005

The lines were a nice way of doing it, though in some areas (bodice and drapping skirt/sash thing) it looks to be way too much (going for a darkened look I suppose, but with lines just looks wrong).

Anyways, congrats on revolutionizing a technique? O_o

  14. SearSay Nov 26, 2005

wow misa. i'd just like to state that you really out did yourself on this one. see, like i said while this was in the works, "it will al pay off," and boy did it ever. i never imagined anything like this would of surfaced as you kept me in silence. anywho, i know, that you know, that i love linear art, (<.<) and this is no exception. the beautifully detailed lines flow so smoothly and elegantly. shows you just how beautiful a line can be. ^^ great work misa!
