first submission on MT3. excited? yes. :D
start it off with my imspirations as usual.
it's offical: my education just got tougher. >_> i'm willing to admit it. i'm not going to lie to you, the good
people of MT, by saying that my high school education is so darn well easy, that a random bum off the street could
easily pass my courses; wrong. so to make the story short, my sister and i were browsing on some book i had a couple of
weeks ago and came across one of my favorite books. a book about greek mythology. i've added this random sentence. yes,
i have. i wanna know if people are actually reading this instead of commenting by what they see, feel, and understand
from the arist point of view and not just pulling random comments from their butts. so if you read all of this, please
make sure to type thank you with a random smilely to prove you have. otherwise, i'd ignore the complaints because
everyone needs to know a little bit of the artist's insight on it. okay, done. yes, anyone who knows me personally knows
that i'm a mythology nut. (i don't believe in them, i just find the legends interesting) so we were reading how the
'gods' did this and that and gave me an idea. why not make a wall based on it?
so my unique idea came to make my own mythology. :D you guessed it, this one is based on the changes in the sky. I
imagined that there are two persons, in this case 'gods', cover the sky but moving their sky-blankets across the sky.
:)
vectored the characters from a scan-hunt i was doing. came out pretty good, i'd say. i like the cloth embracing the two,
don't you? :D
i wanted to express the darkness of night and the light of day. so what better way to do so then make the two collide.
made it mosaic-like because to the 'gods' the mortals and their lives don't really matter to them. it's all, you know,
pixelated. it's not really made to be understood but it's there.
troubles? getting the idea to work.
and you know what i think is fun? (to me at least ) to put all you icons on the side where you think the whole
day should be based on. i placed my on the night side. looks cooler to me. XD
the usual;
layers: 36 layers
timing: background was made in about about 2 days, on and off, the vectored scans
took about a week, on and off. MT matters to me, but studying is what gets me the ticket
to use the computer. XD
music listening to: hmm... Breaking Benjamin's Forget It, Daniel Powter's Bad
Day, and Michael Buble's Home.
dedications: it's for all who believe that the world isn't composed of only stupid desicions, weird side effects of
reality, and learning now to stay up and do the work that is long due, but the chance to make a difference in a person's
life... or your own. .... and the complete construction of MT3. great job, sheqel!
and i also want to give my congrats to the UA group on winning the collab round! :D
