I <3 it!!! It looks really good, adn its Kamui!!! ^_^ the effects that you used look really good!!! Great job on this wallie, the background really goes go with the overall concept. Only thing is that there are a tad too many flowers petals ^^;;;. But really, I like it! fav!!!

Like most of my recent works, this wall is heavily brush-based. In fact, I basically just used custom brushes (from various sources), other than a few blurs and gradients.
The sakura petals... well, some were covering Kamui already (like the biggest one), so I decided, instead of re-cging him, adding some new ones. Yes, I'm lazy. Sue me.
Image from here. (I had it in stock. Ha! Finally, my daily leechings pay off! XD)
EDIT: And, a week after, I discover there's a flawed petal. Whee. I've edited it, now, though.

Oh, X wallpapers are kinda rare, those that depict the anime anyway. I truly love this wallpaper, the beauty of it and the light effects you used to blend it all, reminds me of the opening scense the the series, good work.

I love the effect. Agreed with the assertion that Kamui looks better in the manga on the whole, (no vampire-red eyes. o.o;) but this wallpaper is beautiful. Good job!
