Like most of my recent works, this wall is heavily brush-based. In fact, I basically just used custom brushes (from various sources), other than a few blurs and gradients.
The sakura petals... well, some were covering Kamui already (like the biggest one), so I decided, instead of re-cging him, adding some new ones. Yes, I'm lazy. Sue me.
Image from here. (I had it in stock. Ha! Finally, my daily leechings pay off! XD)
EDIT: And, a week after, I discover there's a flawed petal. Whee. I've edited it, now, though.

that is AWESOME! XD I love the colors, the lighting, the texture, and a lot more about it. The colors really caught my attention first and I especially love the crispness of it yet the colors blend so nicely. The only this is maybe, do u think the rays of light should extend beyond and fade out? It's a minor thing. Anyway, great job! =D

The petals look excellent. Maybe you could have made the light look as if it was emanating from the sword instead of it shooting out. Cool wallpaper none the less.
