Hehe I chose a stylish title. This wallpaper shows Shinji holding the injured Rei. I think it's the scene Shinji has to decide if he wants to pilot EVA-01. It's a scan from Evangelion artbook 'Die Sterne' by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto. His artworks are really beautiful. In the background are Adam's yellow mecha wings. Not sure if these were wings. This part is a memory of the second impact. I know, the two scenes don't belong together.
So my internet was down for some days and I decided to make a wallpaper. First I wanted to put some EVAs into the background, however, I didn't have any. So everything in this wallpaper is selfmade (except the scan), please download the wallpaper, there are some nice details ^^.

This wallpaper is a masterpiece. It is great that everything except the characters is selfmade. The columns are really awesome and the red horizon is fantastic. I also like the alternativ design of Adam's wings.

Excellent work! It really tells a story, with plenty of emotion and heart to go with it. You may not have drawn the chars but your selection of bg elements and balance shows a good eye for what works and what doesn't. Favorite.

Hes always got a way of expressing things with the fewest words possible....A very true statement and its great to see you back on again Chibikko-chan! Everyones missed you and your wonderful walls =D. Such a waya to come back, NGE style too =P. Hooray! Just like Miketo said, just tells an emotion alone from the scan is simply amazing, but whats more amazing is that you were able to capture the emotion in the background as well. Just simply an amazing choice of colors and beautiful design just make this wall overflowing with such powerful emotions. I must say that this is the first time I've looked at a wall and really felt compelled from the bottom of my soul. Such a beautiful job you've done here Chibikko-chan, I cannot stress enough how much I love the bg you've made here. Simply outstanding. Favorite of the week for me, I can't think of a better way to describe this wall other than an emotional masterpiece.

wooooh interesting concept, i haven't seen much of Eva so maybe i'll missing the point here. i think the scan fits in nicely with the background but maybe a lil more on the lighting to match the dark background.

Excellent! The colors blend nicely and I particularly like the border coloring around the characters.
