Finally finished it! Took me a very long time ^^;
Anyways, this is a late B'day gift for

I finished painting Luka & Yuki about month ago ^^ And I think I started this one on Oct 2009. And only begin
painting around January-April, after I finished my last Yuki wall. I start with Yuki, and.. kinda stopped. And only
begin painting Luka since April/May. But I couldn’t finished it, due to Luka clothes ^^;
So, I end up making another wall, which is non-UraBoku. Finished the character in 2-3 days. And it was when I was about
to make the background, I found out about Otomate planning on taking legal action towards sites who uses their
scans/image illegally on net. And.. the piece I’m working on is Julius from “Wand of Fortune”. So, I decided not
to continue with it, coz I didn’t want to get sued by them ^^ ;
But anyways, I finally continue with Luka clothes. And finally got it right after 4th try. At first, I made their wings
just like on the original scans. But after failing the 1st versions of the background, I decided to extend them. Which,
I regret. I should’ve done them before I start painting ^^; Oh well. It went well, although it does took me few days
just redoing their wings. And to be honest, I still dislike their wings. Esp. Yuki’s. I really don’t know how to
color his wings ^^;
For the background, this is actually the 7th or 8th versions ^^ As usual, I’m suck at making background! Although this
one is much simple than I had in minds (with Moonie helping me throwing some ideas), I kinda like it. It’s actually
vectored from the stock photo I found on DA. And I hope the mist/fog looks okay. Umm… the overall color look a bit
dull, but that was my intention.
For the title, it's actually from NANA ending theme. I just finished re-watching and re-reading NANA like month ago, so.. yeah ^^;
Oh well, time to move on! Next will be either one of these: Yuki, LukaYuki, LukaYuki or Yuki

I think you can try adding some feather flying around on the background and contrast Luka's wing a little...

I think you did a wonderful job! About the wings...well, I think they look fine; you probably think that way because
Luka's wings have a more detailed shading than Yuki's but I still think they look okay ^^
The background works perfectly! Gosh, 8 bg versions?! o_O;;
Ah there's only one thing that looks off, don't know if that's what you wanted or not...but that
forest/mountain disappears on the left side, between the tree and yuki's wings.
..seeing your wall makes me miss walling =A=
......and have I told you I love how you did Yuki's eyes? <33

I would've liked a little more detail on the tree, and also where the mist is on the
left I still think we should be seeing some of those trees in the background through it.
With the mist is, completely blocking it the wall looks empty on that side and makes us
think you forgot it.
I do like the change you made, using the tree but also making your
own touches. The dark tone of the wallpaper is somehow very calming
and smooth, I adore the distance in the back. Wonderful job altogether.

Anyways, back to the wallie, Luka's clothes is painted wonderfully omg O_o very detailed and added sexiness to Luka XD Though, somehow I don't seem to like Luka's eyes...? dunno why though, just feels weird... maybe Yuki's eyes r painted too wonderfully which makes me feel that Luka's eyes ain't that great relatively. =3
I think I know why the feathers seem weird...? birds' wings (ok i am just using this as an illustration, of course i don't mean that they r wearing that XD) that we usually see don't have such uneven sides. Also, I agree with epsilon86 that adding a bit of feathers might be better? O_o' dunno if u've tried that before though.
Overall, this is an awesome wallpaper and I liked it a lot...though u may see my comments n I think i am picky? =3 haha XD *I like giving suggestions more...* +favs and set as my current wallpaper =D
