My entry for:
Took a while to find a decent image, no luck so I basically took this Colette screenshot from the Tales of Symphonia opening, her eyes are love although I adjusted it to a more blue/cyan color. The first thing that came to mind to get some nice blue going was Monochrome! It's the style that makes your colors go boom.
So I vectored her, gave her more detail/depth (SHE IS NOT PAINTED) and added the beautiful Tales of Symphonia wings with several refrences. Converted to Photoshop, had no idea for a background except something not too crowded and got this, added some filters to it to blend/fit it all (I did ask others for idea's). Added the birds and apparently the text I made beforehand ended up quite fitting. I used several textures, no sources as I just picked them from google images. Gave her wings sparkles and a glow effect as a finishing touch. Oh, and the moon is a brush I downloaded long ago.
