Sakura-Dust helped me so much with this, and without her I would have canned it half way through.
So to the wall it self.
When I saw this scan I was just like *__*
because of the potential.
I actually watched alice in wonderland again for some inspiration.
Originally I was going to do a paint-y vector, but ory-chan suggested that I do messy vector shapes.
I tried to make them messy ;____; but I fail.
Please don't say anything mean about my rose bush (I may stab you)
It was the most horrid thing making and why I never want to look at this again.
I also think my sense of lighting and shading is some-what naive, hopefully I'll improve with time ^^;
Layers - Over 800 (this was due to my stupidity not necessity)
Time - 5 weeks *STABS STABBY STAB STAB*
Favourite Part - The bucket 8d I heart bucket
Hated Part - Every part of the rose bush *Stabs...*
Ps. The curvey green things in the bg are not hills, its a hedge :/

The rosebush looks fine, I love the details on it (like how you can see all the leaves >__< ). Awesome vectoring style, I love how you shaded Yuuko's dress.
Though I wonder what she's looking at, she's looking at behind her chair instead of at the viewer XD

I absolutely love the concept! Only when I downloaded I saw the half painted roses and realized the alice in wonderland theme... I think it's just brilliant!
As for the execution, you managed to pull through the multi-layered vectoring greatly, especially considering the reconstruction I suppose you made to Yuuko's sleeve, considering the original scan.
All in all, it's really great! xD -

I seriously love the Alice in Wonderland "painting the roses red" concept, and the Queen of Hearts really fits Yuuko well now that I think about it xD Despite what you said about the execution, this is really wonderfully done - especially after looking at the original scan and how much you added in. I'm seriously impressed by the work that must've gone into that BG. This looks like a work of love to me - awesomeness FTW <3

i quiet enjoy the vector but i'm not really that hot about some details on the face and the bg--probably just because its not as clamp-esque and lacks some solidarity with that stellar vector you've got -

I am glad you used this messed up vectoring style and not the painting one. I definitely would prefer this version =D
