This was a pretty big project. I first saw this scan and loved it. The girl is so pretty I wanted to make a wallpaper of her. I was originally going to use the original background and repaint over it, but I kept messing up (spent literally all day on the failed version). So I decided to make my own background. I kept it sort of monochromatic using all shades of purple... Everything in the background is made from scratch: painted water and made planets following a tutorial.

A really lovely vector wallpaper, indeed. The painted water almost looked real, the only iffy part are the planets themselves. Scientifically, if the planet were that big, then the planet she's on would have blown up. Now if you made them smaller like they are far away, now that's reasonable. Also I wish the font was a tad bit smaller, but hey I can't even make wallpapers this good ^^.

Well, you don't see many vector wallpapers this good nowadays! I love the vector, it's so high-quality and the colors are just perfect - purple will forever be lovely. And let's not forget the background, I envy your painting skills >_< I couldn't paint a scene so awesome even if my life depended on it! Keep up the great work, you've got a favorite form me :)

Lovely vector! It's very clean and smooth. The background looks great too with that shade of purple. The textwork looks good with the wallpaper too. I can't find anything else that you could improve on so i'll just go ahead and give you that fav. =)

I'll compliment your awesome vector and painted bg, but the thing I love most and makes this wall completely fantastic, is the dying planet.
I love the surreal atmosphere, the text isn't a bother either (the font fits like a glove), but wouldn't look bad if it was smaller. -
