This was a pretty big project. I first saw this scan and loved it. The girl is so pretty I wanted to make a wallpaper of her. I was originally going to use the original background and repaint over it, but I kept messing up (spent literally all day on the failed version). So I decided to make my own background. I kept it sort of monochromatic using all shades of purple... Everything in the background is made from scratch: painted water and made planets following a tutorial.

A really lovely vector wallpaper, indeed. The painted water almost looked real, the only iffy part are the planets themselves. Scientifically, if the planet were that big, then the planet she's on would have blown up. Now if you made them smaller like they are far away, now that's reasonable
