Took a screenshot of the forest's god while watching mononoke..was just so beautiful :D. decided the second i saw the scene i had to make a wallpaper out of it. Of course its not the first time i saw the movie, but still, i'm everytime impressed..
The wall has no eye-catcher, its more a..simple scenic wallpaper, for a clean empty desktop :3. I found out another amazing feature of the smudge tool, used on the clouds (don't they look real? :3). Also did the trees/bushes with the brush+smudge+filter technic..so, enjoy!

nice job on the background, I do like those clouds :) Probably could put more Kodamas in there though. any maybe move the text right a bit so that it's in the center of the black area?

This used to be a screenshot. . . *blink blink* No. Way.
And from that observation - my hat off to you. I woulda never thunk it. I know you're proud of your clouds, and they look great, except that, for my tastes, they're a little too blurred. With the forest god in front of them it seems like they're farther out of focus than they should be; either that or there's rain coming down from them. Nonetheless, awesome job making the screenshot into a wallpaper sized image. Very sweet. I especially like the wonderful job you did on the forest god, you really captured the 'slimy' feel that I get when I watch the movie. Perfection. ^_^

always loved the scene on the movie where the forest's god appears, it's some how so fascinating and you made such a beautiful wallpaper from it ~ especially like the composition of the wall, the way how the forest's god is coming from the left side of the wall and goes almost in the middle of the wall and then the trees with the white kodama spirits make the scene look very balanced. even though the nightwalker is big and covers quite much from the other side of the wall but since he is visible so it gives more space to the background which emphasize the balanced feeling. colouring of the nightwalker is so pretty, light spots inside him and the darker blue patterns brings the ancient but magical feeling out so nicely ^_^ background is simply gorgeous ~ love the way the view spreads to the far away distance and it's so calming. trees with the kodama spirits are really sweet, the white colour of the spirits gives nicely light and emphasize the magical atmosphere which the movie has too. sky is nicely blue and the soft clouds gives peaceful and pleasant feeling but also makes the wall gentle to look at. light bit yellowish tones near the mountains gives the feeling that sun is going to rise which gives nostalgia nicely to the atmosphere. overall colouring is really smooth and fascinating way bit hazy, different tones are blending well together and sgadings look natural. lighting is very beautiful and brings refreshness to the air. overall magnificent work and thank you for sharing !

Oh my God! It's B-E-A-utiful. I mean, duh. And besides, it's from one of me favorites movies: Princess Mononoke. Maybe that's why I think it's a really great wallpaper indee of the Forest Spirit; so clean, with such relaxing tones! I dunno, but BRAVO ANYWAY!
