I like the difference of the way Wakaba draws the lines and how the background is vectored. Looks interesting... I
don' t like the letters so much though... I don't think it's needed. Love the set of colors that you
chose... cheerful, nice to look at. Same goes for the whole concept... the circle, CD shape in the back...
There certainly would be more to say but I must stop procrastinating.... university business is calling! O_o

For the 100 Themes Project @ Instant Noodles
I forgot what the number was already but it was "playing the melody".
An extremely random wallpaper I decided to do while procrastinating on my design. I seriously can't think of anything innovative with a 50sqm limit with a stupid stupid 3 metre change in level and completely orthogonal geometry, like I mean, wtf, I want to cut off that corner diagonally to address the street corner. And what twat keeps like 36m of bookshelf space? I have about 19.5m at the moment and it's making the design look extremely ugly.
Anyway enough of ranting. Basic vector/ trace over the original artwork and it slowly evolved into this. There was a black background version, but it didn't seem to look quite as good as this one.
The scan is nowhere to be found on the net, because it was given to me by the all wonderful and master of artbooks, DREAM XD
PS: The goat is NOT missing a leg... that was in the original art and is meant to be just a line :P

I love it. A raw energy with an innocence & purity in both the subject matter and the colours. It's out and out bold, without any need to complicate it with textures and therefore creating something with a very natural feel. Fantastic!

Just by looking at this really makes me wanna go "Yihhaaaaww!" for some reason. It really does, but I don't know why. >.<
I really love the vector, they look so fresh and raw, and very attractive at the same time. Very refreshing. Misa's work never cease to amaze me. I luv this! <3

Excellent use of color and the vectoring is well done (I love the guitar!) though perhaps blurring the black outlines ever so slightly would make them a bit less jagged. Other than that, excellent job!

Oh my god, oh my god. I have a similar reaction to kawaii-chicken about this wall and it's just..."OH MY GOD." This is so cute. What I really love about this wallpaper is the colors in the background and the placement of those colors with the white. It just fits so well...But I really really love this wall.

strange i didn't get a notification for this. :( once again the thumb does not due the wall justice. the text seems fine to me. you really have a way of bringing out the essence of wakaba's art; and in all truthfulness her b&w is tops. ^^ i am so glad i sent you those scans. :)
