Again, happy (late) birthday crap!
The more I looked at the original birthday wall I made for crap the more I felt
like it got shafted because of my move o__o So I killed the mushrooms (although
they linger on as a devART
scrap if you're inclined to take a look) and made this one, which is
actually another doodle-at-work wall xD;; It's probably slightly less personal
than the original, but... I REALLY love this wall o_o I got to paint trees from
scratch, play with lighting (which I've always wanted to try but never did), and
botch the text... still, I think it's one of the most simple yet atmospheric
walls that I've ever made. So yay! Loves for it, and to crap 
Eureka and Anemone extracted from this scan (yes I wanted to
see if I can still extract *coughs*); brown
paper texture from devART; translated
lyrics from Kozue Takada's "Himitsu Kichi" (Eureka Seven's first
ED); and because Eureka Seven has such cool episode names I just snitched one
for the title The rest is from scratch... Photoshop CS2 + mouse <3
Lastly huge thanks to tat0rs for tossing me the green reflecting trees idea when I got stuck, which worked like a charm <3

Oooooh *_* This is a great example of a simple wallpaper of high quality and a certain richness to it which makes your heart feel all warm and fuzzy :3
The subtle lighting feels so warm and refreshing, and the trees are absolutel beautiful, they remind me of those delicate watercolour works. Not only that, the typography is quite lovely and the texture is so nicely used.

very clean and simple.
Very simple, and very nice. The trees are subtle, but striking; and, with the gradient and the light, they really give the wall an atmosphere you can sink into.

Wow that is a really refreshing wallpaper. The stlye is really lovely. I also have to agree with kuroimisa the typography is great. Its hard to get type to work well but on this design it works great.-Shira

It's hard to explain...but the textures and scan used do come together in that special way that really evokes a special kind of feeling. I don't know how this kind of simplicity manages to create such an atmosphere, but I know that this wall you've made definitely does a good job of it! ^_^
