Very nice work; the mannequin idea was a neat touch (great job on that, by the way!). All in all, a very interesting
work of art.
Take care,

It's a Eureka seveN wallpaper! XD Full view please. ^^
This wallpaper took forever. >_> I'm still a beginner at vectoring, and for me, it takes lots of practice to
perfect it. But anyways, I wanted to try something new, so I did. Actually, this wallpaper turned out way different than
from what I imagined in the beginning. OX
Well, the title is called "Fake Scenery" for a reason. The way everything is set up, it doesn't look
"real" at all. Eureka(blue) and Anemone(red) have little details in their clothing(wrinkles and shadows), and
they pretty much look like mannequins, their faces without eyes and noses. And the sky background looks as if it just
stands there for the "mannequins" to model in, kinda like a cardboard picture. So in a way, everything seems
fake. XD Maybe... maybe not... >_<
The original scan: Eureka 7 scan from
saikusa
Vectoring this scan took ages, but it still didn't turn out so great. D= But I hope you guys still like this
wallpaper.
I used the pen tool throughout most of the wallie. Some parts aren't as smooth... but I'm still working on it.
Hopefully, I'll get better. >.< I didn't use any brushes at all, which is a first. ^_^' Haha, and
pretty much I had fun making this piece.
Thank you for all the comments and favorites. :3

they do look like mannequins, I like the concept you took for the whole piece, and the clean way it looks, as a suggestion, the next time you work with vectors, try to change the outline (stroke) with a different style, (in illustrator) you do this changing after you have the whole stroke the properties of the same (they are right next to the size) you only have to load the different styles and try different ones I think they are called as brushes or something....details like those ones will make look your artworks kind of smooth and elegants.
anyway, nice work. -

wow.. i like the concept of this wallie..
Although i think that there's some part of the vectoring which isn't that smooth... >.< I'm sure you'll work out on that.. :D
Like the simple bg that you created to blend in the scan.. Great job on that.. Awesome piece of work... ^^ -
