interesting wall, i love the background and the colours you used and i love the stars and her wings and that talisman thingy, the glow looks a little wierd, but besides that lovely wall^^

wow. i thought this would take a lot longer than it did XD i started this as a way to while away the time as i waited for a download to finish. needless to say, i finished the download and continued with the wallie! it's 1:10am and i have school tomorrow, but once i start this kind of thing it totally consumes me until it's done (a pity i can't be like that in art class(!) the tutorial i used to make the starfield is actually THE TUTORIAL. that is, it's the first tutorial i ever used, when i was still a photoshop virgin and coloured, rendered clouds was a big deal XD i've been dying to use this image of chikage ever since i saw it. i quite like chikage, she reminds me strongly of my close friend. for the white outline i duplicated the image, used difuse glow and enlargened the layer. the wings i have been desperate to use in a wallie but never had the right sort of thing. even here it's a space filler. the entire thing is too pinky without the wings to break the colours up a bit. the font was a total fluke, i chose a random one on the list to write the text in and as it turned out, it was the best looking font for this particular wall (i've been know to trawl dafont for the better part of an hour trying to find a font that's "just right") i toyed with the idea of taking the talisman out but left it in (PM me if you want it minus the talisman) because i was so damn used to looking at it it looked funny without it. inspired by idril's "upside down" (check it out, it's my current desktop) and the original scan.
time taken: 5 1/2 hours. i'm quick at starfeilds :P
