Naoto Tenhiro Mangaka Sister Princess Series

I spent my time watching Sister Princess' artbook, "The Art of Sister Princess" by Naoto Tenhiro. It was really gorgeous; so I thought, what if I can make a wallpaper from this -- and there goes this wallpaper. X-P

Featuring Karen from the series. The idea of "angel" here just came out suddenly; I actually designed it for other character (that is, Azmaria Hendric from Chrno Crusade) -- but then I thought there would be problem concerning Azmaria's hair color (it's into light shades of purple), which will break the blue-theme I first considered.

So, I changed it into Karen's image. Her hair is brown, well... it wouldn't crash with blue as severely as pink-or-purple. The matter is that her cloth colors pink again; so I had to retouch it to adjust with the background. Now it's into shades of blue rather than pink.

I also reduce the foreground's opacity to blend with the 'soft' background -- in my monitor it turns out kinda well; however, in some low-contrast monitor, it may turn a bit less variative in its color... maybe I should calibrate my monitor's color setting to overcome this. -_-
