I've been working on this one for quite a bit, but I'm not entirely happy with it. Maybe I'm just prejudiced against making another purple Yuuko wallie. But she certainly does lend herself to purple very well. Anywho, this one started out as a banner for the CW banner contest way back in April, but I was getting ready for my wedding and things were kinda hectic then, so I never finished it. And now it is a wallpaper!
I would say there's 40+ layers on this baby. I'm very impressed with the background. It took me quite awhile to make that. Let me know what your thoughts are, everyone!

Hanazaki, I actually got married already! It was on the fourth of May and we had a pirate-themed wedding. It was tons of fun.

I love that background, and Yuuko does lend herself to purple very well. I'm not a big fan of the hair though, but thats just a personal preference. I love here long straight hair, but it is a huge pain to mask out :P Anyways, do ou think you could tell me what techniques you used to make the swirls, spirals, and those horizontal stripes by chance?
