This is my ~First~ attempt at doing a dark wall.
My ~First~ attempt at doing some abstractness.
And also my ~First~ attempt at doing some grunge.
The wall still has a scenic style to it, but I incorporated various other styles and so it is a Mutt Wall :D

About the Wall:
Hard Part
---Pretty much the backdrop which I got from a Trinity Blood Scan (Here at MT--here is a link to see it: http://img514.imageshack.us/img514/4753/scan9lw.jpg).
Fell in love with the backdrop of the scan. So I had to work with the part of it that I could use and yet make it fit
the size of the wall. I had to redraw and stamp out and fix a lot of the backdrop to achieve those effects. I believe it
came out well convincing.
Fun Part
---Since the Trinity Blood Scan offered some cool paint daubs here and there, I decided to make it more. It just looked
cool! And so I had fun adding spurts of paint and started to do some grunge effects too. And of course some blood :) The
Chains were brushes that I made. Finally, a grainy texture was applied to entire wall.

grunge, abstract, scenic, everything compound nearly perfect >_<, you're so so wonderful Emma-san. i wanna make wall with a sumi keiichi scan too but seem like i dont have the change wall it ^__^, and now you make one, how wonderful, me really love this i'm speechless when seeing that >.<, and i can see how hard the scan is >_<. you're so amazing, this wall deserves favs Emma-san ^___^

great job.... a blue dungeon background. Can really feel the sorrow of that litle girl. With her pony tail flying up blow by the wind really give me a sad emotion towards that girl...^-^... Good job. I like it a lot.

Wow...so many firsts... XD Well, the wall isn't really nice...but I don't blame you since its your first in almost everything of the wall XD The wall ish a lil' too grainy, is that the grunge effect? It makes the wall looks really poor in quality... But I like your dark style in the wall ^^ Eerie yet impressive ^^ The corridor looks so frightening as if it can swallow you up XD
Some extraction problems around her hair though ^^

Very nice Emma I really like the textures in the background although I'm not much of a grainy testures fan. The girl looks so sweet but so sad and the blood is a good effect. well done :)

Still think it could be a lil darker coz there is mist that kinda breaks up the deep colours...meh but the mist is awesome and cobwebby so i wont say anything haha.

Ya know, for your first attempt at dark, this is pretty durned angst-iful. (*^.^*) I can definitely see why you'd fall in love with the bg, it's simply haunting 9i love the chains in the upper left corner, how they're kinda blurred, gives the wall depth!)
I only have a small problem with the graininess of the whole thing - the pixelations throws me off a bit.
But that's just me being snarky - this wall is a definite fave! -

The dept is great I have to say. Also the feeling coming out of this wall is great.
Maybe using just a small amount of vibrant colors can add some more movement to the wall but it's also very nice as it is. I especially like the dungeon like atmosphere. Brushing and the granyness could use a little more work but all in all this is a well built wall Emma. =)

Wow O.o It's very very great in thumbnail... but in full view.... u added noise on it, yeah? >__< I dun't think it well....Because I can't see the scan u showed, I can't be sure of anything >__< (sis, check that link ><) But the BG is really great >__< I love the hall (or cave O.o) behind the girl >__<, so mysterious n wonderful, the scan n the scene fit very well ^__^
Ah... one more thing.... if I'm not wrong, the extraction is not very good, the girl's hair is so hard >__<

Your first attempt to create a dark wallie and you manage to go this far ;) that's really great ;)
first of all the idea is really great and also the colors you used are matching perfectly with the scan ;)
the grunge textures and effects look pretty cool too!

hmmm...lets see...firstly, i think a lantern can be added to her right hand. i imagine it will glow into her face, making a sense of warmth, but at the same time, the warmth is restricted. altogether it wouldnt look bad, like she's gonna enter the dark hallway to look for her bro ^^ according to the story =) gd job, definitely worth dlling, and congratz, ur the first to be on my watchlist hehe
