Maybe you should have saved this for Christmas ^^

I know they make a good couple, but I don't think, somehow, that they are perfectly suited for each other. Athrun is more or less cast away by Lacus who has discovered a better disposition in Kira whilst Cagali had been inclined towards Kira until she discovered they are siblings. It's like they aren't quite meant for each other - not as much as the Kira/Lacus couple anyway.
