Onmyoji Abe no Yasuaki-san from Harukanaru Toki no Naka De. Yeah, this is my first wallpaper, and it only took me about an hour collectively to make it. It's not all that good, but it fits the season, not to mention I really like how the colors turned out.

Oh wow... *sheds a lil' tear* Thank you all so much! You have no idea how happy you've all made me. It really is my first wallpaper, and I'm just now teaching myself to use Photoshop7. I'm trying to work on a Bleach wallpaper now, but it's proving incredibly difficult because of the extensive editing, aheh.
Abe-san looks like a girl, but he's quite male. He's an onmyoji, or "Yin Yang Master," or I think the correct term would be Tao Master. He's also one of those apathetic characters that just act cool all the time. His seiyuu is Ishida Akira (aka Gaara for you Naruto lovers). I haven't gotten into the series far enough to know what the scar/birthmark is over one side of his face, ^_^;

hm like what everyone stated, this is really good for your first wallie, so wonderful job ^^
i like the mosaic-style background, it looks awesome and the character looks awesome too and blends good with that background. the only thing that i would point out is the cluttering of the leaves they seem to overlap a lot at some parts, so maybe having less of it would help with that. -

i really dig the fractal you used in the bg. the only thing i would change is the leaves. possibly make them lighter, or lose them altogether, or just use a different brush. oh and one more thing i just noticed, try reducing the noise of the bg a lil', its kinda grainy. a little rough around the edges, but over all, shows a great deal of promise. my grade: b+. i'd really like to see you repost this wall when you learn your way around ps a bit more.

I was afraid the green would be a bit...too much, since his hair is green and all. Going back, I could probably trade the color of the leaves and the background color, so the background is orange and the leaves are green...probably would have looked better. Reguardless, I guess it turned out well enough. The background does look grainy, but that was kinda the effect I purposely put to it. Anywho, yes...it really is my first completed wallpaper. I tried one once before for the boys from Weiss Kreuz, but it was horribly novice and I ended up trashing it. Thanks for the feedback everyone!
