Well I think this grunge style is a lot better then the stuff I make. Honestly, I should probably learn from the master to get better at making my walls. Rocky another job well done.

Grunge is so not my forte.
It's probably best I go the abstract route. Anyway, the theme was a 'dirty birth'... hence the grunge or dirty background contrasting against the gentleness of the bubbles (romance bubbles! whee~).
More resolutions soon at Antique Fairy Tales.... God, it feels so cool to say that.

it seems to me you have the gruge basics down,
nice texture n color
but theres not too much going on in the wall
and the top left is kinda dark
but oh well, it still a nice grunge wall -

I just have to say, lol~ romantic bubbles XD Well, I have to say that this is most definately a unique concept for a Tsukhime wall. I have say that even though you don't consider grunge your forte, you do quite a nice job with it. Or at least this is my personal opinion. I pondered across this wall and I just had to leave a comment, so I hope that you don't mind.
First off, the scan. I gotta say it's one heck of a beautiful scan of Arc. I love her wardrobe and I just love the pose of the scan too, as if she's tightrope walking. It gives the impression that she is floating on the bubbles and I have to say I really ilke that =x. Sorta the hovering type effect looks very nice and I think it's a beautiful choice for the background as well. Just a very peaceful scan of Arc, so beautiful and elegant.
The background, oooooh wow. I have to say I love the crimson bg. Well..almost a rusted maroonish..but it still has a red type texture to it..unless I'm colorblind (I think I am =x) It just has a very lovely feel to it. To be honest, this is a perfect type of texture for the bg. It's not TOO grungish, but enough to where it has that feel to it. Which is what really attracts me to it. I have to say I love the lighting as well, giving an even more elegance to the scan and really kinda making the bubbles seem..well, for me, more magical. The bg also gives it sorta a dark feel too, yet not so much as it drowns out the entire background, but not so little to where it feels..heavenly, so to speak. The bubbles were a really unique effect to add. Personally, I think it's rather interesting to add something like this, which was very nicely done I have to say, but I also have to admit, it fits very nicely with the background. One would think that Arc + grunge + bubbles would equal disaster..but wow, it looks just amazing. I like how you had them vary in size and the way they swirl up her skirt as well was a very nice touch too. The text I also have to say is very nicely done and fits with the background and overall, just a fantastic job.
What can I say? I think this is a beautiful Tsukihime wall. You really are quite the artist and you really have some unique concepts, but don't be so hard on yourself. You have a great deal of talent and I think you do a great job with grunge. I look foward to seeing more work from you and commenting on it, if I have the time to, in the future. This one has earned my favorite.
