I'm not exactly sure what inspired me to do this. I've always been one to look to the night sky and do nothing but simply stare at it in awe. I know this isn't the greatest wallpaper to say it, but hey, I gave it a try. :) I wanted her to give off this.. 'I'm dying inside.' feeling. Although I'm not entirely sure what I've ended up with.
At any rate, I know this looks busy. I fully intended it to be that way. ^.^ I want nothing else on a desktop other than her staring back at me -- and besides, I was a little impressed at how well the colors worked together.
The background was created entirely by me using Aethereality and DA-submitted brushes (if you know the specific creator, please tell me -- I'll credit them gladly). The scan is from here. I know I've used this scan in a previous wallpaper, but can you blame me? The scan is just too gorgeous not to use for things like this.
Hope I've made some people happy by creating this. As I write this, I'm still unsure what it is I've actually came up with here, but it's pretty soothing.. whatever it is.

That's very pretty! The stars are beautiful and the background as well. I really like how you did the background for the title too, with the squares and etc? That looks really neat.
lol, it didn't end up giving me the "I'm dying inside" feeling, it gave me the "hope" feeling. It's probably because the little dots of light on her and her expression. I do have a question though...what exactly is behind Arcueid? Is that the moon or a lot of stars gathered together? I'm kinda confused. ^_^'

I do that too. I mean staring at the wide night sky in awe. :) But I didn't get the "I'm dying inside" vibe, but just a cool and calm feeling despite the combusting heavens on the background. Because an end is always a new beginning. Though when you're about to die, people say that you'll feel calm. So maybe there is something like an "I'm dying inside" feeling.
Ahh. Well. Sorry for the rant. The background was very well done. It's a little too sharp and too blurry on some bitsm but great work anyways.

I think you accomplished what you were going for. Great work on the background in particular and the general construction of the wall.
