it took me a while but i finally realized why the shadow looked sooo familar! i really like what you've done, it looks awesome.. now i have to learn that and about a million of other things in photoshop or painter.... but i love this, it's really awesome and it is true, Al doesn't get a lot of his own walls.

Poor Al doesn't get enough of his own wallpapers so here's my contribution to him. I'm surprised at how well this wallpaper came out considering the size of the original image. First, I vectorized Al as best as I could and looked at some other photos as references for detail. I didn't want anything too fancy for the background, so I made a grass texture with my own modifications of course, and added some dandelions and a few patches of bladed grass. The title Never Look Back came from the second opening song, "Ready Steady Go" by L'Arc-en-Ciel.

I like a lot the concept of the wallpaper. The shadow on the grass reminds me a bit of the poster to Phantom Menace, where little Anakin casts the shadow of Darth Vader on a rock.

That's an incredibly cute scan of Al. Love the grass, it's so lush and prettily green! =^_^= And here I thought the never Look Back title was symbolic of the "cursed" shadow behind Al.... ~_^

Sweet ^.^ Awesome vector work, and the texture on the grass is terrific... makes me just want to lie down and roll around in all that grassy goodness. The bird looks great too, although the feathers feel a bit random and I'm not sure if the dandelions add anything to the wall. Still, great job! ^-^

So sweet and innocent at first glance. The shadow, however tells a different story. It is a forboding of the future and the end of a carefree childhood. Excellently done.

I love it! its one of those walls that really pulls at your heart strings. its Al all cute and kid like, then you see the shadow... and you realize what happends. it makes you wanna cry.
