this wall took 4-5 hrs to make and my eyes hurt. T.T the background was made with some different brushes and blending. the moon is a brush as well and i layered a couple of colours to get the shadow effect. the anime is really appropriate for this picture because it is dark and sinister, hence the name. note: she is more actually some sort of fallen angel because she has wings....but shes more evil than good. i have no idea why she carries a sword but it looks cool. comments and advice are appreciated. enjoy ^^
edit: actually i didnt know Witching Hour was a book name, it was a random title that just came to thought =P

The moon remindes me of a night in which I dreamed it appeared that way...
But it is great work. The name implies to the title of a novel written by an author named 'Anne Rice'...though I can't say I read it.
The name goes with the character, also, and so does the background. Again, great work. -

That moon is very good ^^ For the bg maybe you can add stars or just night clouds to avoid its emptyness. The scan extracted quite well, need more cleaning though 'cos she's still a little pixelate :D

The scan could really go for some cleaning, and I know that because of the graininess of the scan, the brighter lines on the edges of the extraction could be seen. The right and bottom parts of the moon could use more blending with the background, so you could use the blur tool for that. It's a very simple wallpaper for sure. Keep up the work.
