I haven't walled for ages.. about a month or so... hehe... I haven't been in the mood and my first attempt at
clouds sorta put me off >____<
Anywayz, here my latest wall ^___^
I had this planned about 2 or 3 months ago =_='
Extraction was the worst part.. took about two hours (because I suck at using pen tool - remind me next time not to use
anything i can't really use)... anywayz, the reason why it was so hard was not just the pen tool, but I
couldn't tell chara from bg... just all yellow.. @_@ (you will notice that a lot of the hair has been chopped off,
because i had no other choice ... >___<)
Clouds - i had to fiddle around a bit to work out how to make one.. ^__^"
It turned out okay i think...
Not the best wall i think, but it's definitely one of the best.
Finally, credits... thanks so much to Stardusted who submitted the scan on MT. Others include, Endless Rain (it's a
website) for the feather brushes and the stock image I found on Google search (sorry, i forgot where exactly) for the
greek columns (a bit of artistic cutout was used)...
I think that sums it all up... Please feel free to comment on it and add in suggestions ^___^

UPDATE: say good bye to the rainbows... xD I decided to get rid of it. I know the
thumbnail shows the rainbows, but it you download it, it downloads the updated version...

the wall is beautiful. the only critique i would make is that her eyes are a little blurry. you did a great job with the clouds. i love the soft yellow tones too. keep up the great work!

Nice ^_^ I really like the feel and atmosphere of this wallpaper. The quality of the scan is rather low though. And I think the rainbow, moon, and column would've looked better if it had been slightly more blurred. However, that's my opinion... and I'm unsure how it will turn out... I just think it might look better ^^;
Anywho, great idea for a wallpaper. Awesome job! :D

The scan is really cute, and the bg works so nicely with it. The clouds are really good. But it's not really perfect because the scan looks really blurred. But it's a great concept anyway.

Wow! Great wall! Really looks incredible. You don't like the pen tool for extraction. Hmm..I guess not a lot do. I always use the pen for extraction...
Anyway, I really like the tone of the wall, and you did great with the clouds! The column is a nice touch, a bit blurry, but still nice. Everything fits well together, really nice!

:nerd: But here are my suggestions: The overall image has the column in higher focus, and the character slightly out of focus (for whatever reason). This automatically puts the viewers attention on the column instead of the character, and I am wondering whether that was your intention. You know, it's just like taking a photograph, you focus on what you want to be the center of attention. So that is something that I would consider changing, if it is not what you intended.
:nerd: Also, the clouds directly in front of the moon have a slightly darke edge, which makes it seem a bit odd, I think that part would be more effective if it would be lighter, so as to blend with what lies behind the clouds.

i dind't know you did walls, lol. not bad, but the column looks like it oculd use some work. also, try not to use such a big res unless your focus (scan most of the time) is simply outstanding in quality. (or unless you re-CG it) looks good man
