Here's a new wall from me! I felt like doing a cheerful hot wallie whereas it's cold out here. I fell in love with that scan Nat posted in PZ. Although Pia Carrot is known for being an H serie, "Welcome to Pia Carrot 3" is just a romance simulation game (rank ecchi). I really like the design of the costumes in that game and I actually plan to do this one (I'm a cosplayer)!
For the inspiration, I used another Pia Carrot picture as a reference to redraw the main background (it's not vector). I added several personal touches and changed colors to match Sayaka's costume. The landscape wasn't a beach in my reference picture but a city. I found it more accurate to set a seaside atmosphere.
The scan is a tad bit crispy (because of the rotation) but it's still ok. It looks perfect in 1280x960 but I prefer providing a 1600x1200 version for you guys (bigger is better... well not always XD).
3 days work, full enjoyment. Comments and favs welcome. :D

First thing I have to say is "Holy Crap!!". Second thing is "Yay! A Sandy Wall!". Now that we've got that out of the way let's go back to the "Holy Crap!!" part. I mean... seriously this is good stuff. The effort put into the background is amazing. From the backwards words on the window down to the reflection her thumb makes against the shiny tabletop. these are the walls that deserve to be featured. The ones where a great deal of time and effort are put into the entire picture the creator is trying to paint. I'd +fav more than once if I could. Excellent job and I hope people recognize the talent here and +fav to get this thing put up in the featured submissions.

Superb. The whole wallpaper exhibits a very satisfying degree of polish. The clean lines, vibrant colors, and seemless integration of the character with the background are much appreciated. :D I do notice a thin vertical line to the right of the girl's head that doesn't look like it should be there. I'm sure it would be a very simple fix.

It is quite akward.....Started as an H, moved to romance and was just gorgeous when it made the move. I simply LOVE Sayaka. Though I really love what you've done here.... I can't believe the perfection of your work (Ok, with your level of skill it is understandable but still). Perfectly capturing the enviroment is something I rarely see. I gotta agree with DP on the fact of the text backwards and the reflection. Real life properties feature in a wall is sometimes rare and when you do see them its unforgettable. I must agree with you, I love the girls costumes in "Welcome To Pia Carrot 3". I have to tip my hat to whoever designed them because its brilliant. Their beautiful and are very attractive to say the least. I'd have to say that costumes in Pia Carrot 3 were probably the only I've ever really liked. @_@ Akward comming from me but still. Overall what can I say? The realism factor in this wall shoots through the roof. You simply blew me away with your work here and I have to tip my hat off to you and give you my favorite of the week.
BTW- Best of luck Cosplaying ^^ I would love to see pictures, but I suppose that sounds creepy....though I'm interested in how you'll pull off the look =D.
