what a beautiful piece, nice detail to the wings I rather like the dark aspect of the piece as well. I'm not totally familiar where this work comes from, only mildly, but I like what you did with this this piece.

Hi there, Moonie again.... ^^
So this is definitely one of my favorite wallpapers... It took me 2 days to create it ^^
For coloring I was using shapes and smudge tool in Photoshop CS5, and I made outlines in easy paint tool sai..

As for the scan.. I can't find it.. I saw it the other day and then it *puff* disappeared... T...T But I put it inside of the progression image so THANKS so much for uploading that awesome scan.. I fell in love with it and got to the job as soon as I saw it.. ^^

the wings look really nice here :D
the white light on the curtain looks a bit weird though, maybe it's better if it's in gradient
the curtain looks a bit rigid to me? and too blue imo but that's just me
aside from that, really great job with that!
