Uhm, this was indeed my first and last attempt at painting in photoshop. This was done probably a year ago. I scanned an original drawing from my sketchbook and made a noble attempt at painting it. For only watching speed painting and not listening to any tutorials at the time, i guess I did alright - however, if I were to try to do this or remake it... I really don't think i ever could. I've made a few other attempts at painting in PS but they never saw the light after being worked on for a few hours max. I did apply some photomanipulation, you can probably see where (in the environment, not on the chick) but its nothing that I would have to point out - just pictures of plants at most that have been butchered and recolored or painted over. I wouldn't submit this as a wallpaper, though it is surprisingly the proper size.. I feel that it has too many amateur flaws that make it unacceptable. Since I no longer have a scanner, I'm afraid I cannot show much else of my sketchbook work, my DA is mostly full of crap but it has a few pictures of random drawing from my sketchbooks..(mostly in the scraps section) which I have many of and they are all pretty much full lol - not of anime/manga type deals though usually, its more like elves and characters that may fall into the anime category but with a little shading they'd be considered real-type ~ and like.. i dunno.. Tim Burton-esque drawings and inkings. if you do visit my DA dont bother with it other than looking - I dont even check it anymore lol >>

I can't do something like this, this looks too complicated and it took a lot of times and work. XD
