what a beautiful piece, it's original yet not based upon the link share. what a beautiful take on things, and the kitsune is the most mysterious thing in the japanese myth and you couldn't have used a better design of things. very well done, in the future I wouldn't mind seeing more of this, do you share on your deviantart account over this? this interests me greatly :)

Minna-san, for the first time not a fanart, but my OC, actually a volume 1 cover for my original manga called KuroiAme

Mmm, so, done with colour pencils and black ink (as usual), added my mangaka name (SaYako Shira) and Vol 1 text in
Corel, kanji mark is hand made, its a logo for KuroiAme Kuran^_^ all took about a week to do, working view hours a day
more or less. Now I know its not easy to do such artwork all by yourself, without anything to watch or base on.
Especially figure out the colours. But it was fun, wanna do another already^_^
Actually I didn't think about BG at first, wanted to do just Kitsune (the character) and crows with the logo in
kanji, but blank BG looked kinda empty so I've decided to do a proper BG with some scenery. I choose to draw the
place where Kitsu usually sit alone, the graveyard on the way to the shrine (on the top of the mountain) from the
KuroiAme village. I choose the colous, which are my favs (combination of blue, violet and green, cold scale generally),
using them I get the moment b4 the sunrise I guess^_^

Your coloring skills are really something else. I'm astonished each and every time... and your manga is really interesting. Besides, it allow us to see your own style of drawing (which is really pretty and dynamic, by the way!). Thank you for sharing!
