I just wanted to make a dark wallpaper so I choose this scan:
Kara no Kyoukai
I extracted it and I used this stock
I used snow, blood, light brushes, and I blended them all together.

The thumbnail really doesn't do this justice, it's gorgeous in full view! I especially like the sharpness and the angle, not to mention the attention you paid to the lighting, haven't seen a good-looking blended stock wallpaper in ages! Beautiful work :)

I have one problem; lighting source of the original scan.
Light comes from the top, not the bottom. To do it correctly, you would have to toss Shiki 180 degree.
Very well executed for the rest. Everything blends well together although it looks a bit sloppy rendered at some points but it can be forgiven.

This wall surely nicely blended and has a strong impact, wish you could make snowflakes on the far background a little more bigger and slightly sparser.
