DO NOT UPLOAD TO ZEROCHAN OR ANYWHERE ELSE. Sourced from Sanzo's "PURPLE" post card book/photo album, this illustration was created by Minekura for a special feature after the end of Saiyuki Reload and into the beginning of "Saiyuki Reload Blast'.
She has always joked that there's a camera man following them, or some kind of reporter. So, it goes without saying as far as in Minekura's world inside her head, the guys' journey is being chronicled on the daily! In any case, this was the "cover shot" for Sanzo's portion of the interview, which also featured two other illustrations and was done much in the style of those seiyuu magazines, hah!
Minekura always brings her characters to life in every day things and this is what makes them so realistic, relate-able, and well, quite lovable.
