My new wall on great manga that I like particularly and on a too funny character, BlackStar contrary to Mifune his
opponent.
It's a pity that anime pass rather fast on this fight.
To make this wall i used a scan, material texture, C4D and few brushes.
Hope you like it.

I like how the texture works with both the background and characters. The swish (ink line style) that separates Mifune and BlackStar's faces is a really cool effect. What I don't get is the text next to BlackStar (the image at the top). It makes me think of power stats even though it isn't. Then there's the Japanese text near the bottom. Those two components really seem out of place. And because it's Soul Eater the ink-swish coming out of BlackStar's back REALLY reminds me of Chrona and her sword. So I don't think it fits here. I do have the suggestion for the swish line. I think it'd be really neat to integrate the sword's curve with the swish line. Like how it is right now the sword overlaps the swish line and it really works well with the curves both create. So yes, the composition is great, I just think there's some kinks to work out. I do like the background simplicity. It doesn't detract from the character image and the circles/shadows break up the background. That's awesome simplicity. Thanks a lot for sharing!
