Artist Comment

Christmas is over but I realized I forgot to post this one.
It's for a poster contest.

I tried to show the happiness of Christmas in this poster using lots bright colors.
The bird is my mascot for this year's holiday season.

pretty much everything is from scratch
Bird is drawn in Adobe Illustrator, based off manga scan (time: ~1 hour)
The background is drawn/rendered in Photoshop, with plenty of brushes/shapes used (time: ~2 hours)
