Actually, I shouldn't be creating wallpapers until dec 19 (our winter break) ,because I need to focus on my studies first. But then I really, really want to give/share as many wallpapers as possible to MT. and so here is my latest wallpaper.
This is obviously for Christmas. I found this scan at AP under Kurehito Misaki a few weeks ago. I didn't work on it immediately because like I said - no wallpapers til dec 19. But I really can't wait for another 3 weeks to create a wallpaper out of this and so...
What I like after the finished product of the characters are the eyes.The BG kinda ticks me off cause I kept on changing my mind here and there for the BG. Finally I settled for this one. Red and green colors for Christmas. I added blueish stars cause it's kinda dull if it's gonna be plain white stars.
Layers: around 25 I think... merged the vector for the characters cause they pile up.
Sorry guys, I think I might have a wrong definition of what vectoring and painting is...Higher ups told me that I just
modified the scan...Well I did, but I also used brush tool and smudge tool to overlay the shadowing and lighting of it
and recolored some parts since some snow in the original scan covered the character. Oh Well... so that would mean I
vectored and painted some parts of the scan..

Great job in vectoring the characters. Love the vector. Although the stars look like fireflies... maybe too round? Otherwise, it's a lovely wallpaper.

The scan is cut-off at the bottom...
The sky is a bit cluttered but the lighting on the scan looks good. You worked the scan well to fit the theme ^_^ -

Love what you did on the scan making it a little darker to fit your bg. Thinking
ideas for bg is really hard especially changing the colors/contrast of the scan but
you did a great job blending the scan on your bg. The starscape is nice but maybe
only one part should be filled with stars and i agree with Chloe for being too
cluttered. The bg needs more black trees(?) especially on the right part behind the
scan. The misty part below the trees needs more work too and try adding them
too on the scan so it will look as if its really cold. The snow is find but need more
depth. Overall love the color changes. +fav! ^^, -

This isn't a vector, you just extracted a scan. Please don't claim you "vectored and painted the scan" when you didn't; please change your description, or risk deletion.
