I really enjoyed doing this wallpaper! I really adore the original black and white scan for it's , softness and
simplicity, but I decided to create a coloured version of it so it could be used as a wallpaper.
Painted in the sunset, clouds and birds to create mood and to give the image more depth. I painter the roses in very
loosely so they look stylised rather than realistic. Overall colour pallete used reminds me of a warm, late summer
evening - beautiful yet slightly melancholic.....

I have the same scan too, It's one of my favorites from loveless <3!I think the same, softness and simplicity in a monocromatic scan is so awesome... *-*

I confess that I have this picture in my favorites for looong time and I forget to write a comment... This must be remedied - I love it! :D especially color - I confess that I printed this picture like a cover for my small book of vocabulary... but I changed sides - Ritsuka is on right side because I would him on front page
