I was really experimenting with different kinds of backgrounds in photoshop and I always wanted to try a skyline theme. I used this vector by Kitten and I colored in Ritsuka's skin. I wanted to color in his eyes too but it looked really ugly after I finished so I left it like that.
I finally added a texture over the wall. I still feel like there's something missing..maybe text or more buildings, not sure. Maybe I should remove the wispy clouds. As soon as I come up with something I'll update this.
Layers: 7 layers.
Time: an hour.

Another great background :) But character seems somewhat out of place ( "somewhat" because it doesn't look bad like this but at the same time it doesn't really fit in - ah, i don't know how to explain this xD ) ;p I wonder how would it turn out if you made his clothes same color as the city.
