I use some brushes tu make the background
next erase somethings that i don't like it
some overlays with gardiens

To make the sakura petals i use some brushes too
play a little with that
and then i use some filters so make the lighting effects

Some blurs, play a little more with brightness and contrast and this what i get.

I like so much this character, and his zanpakuto is one of my favorites.
I hope you like it ^^

It's a very attractive wallpaper and the atmosphere provided suits the character well. Nice job!

  2. Sakura-Dust Jun 28, 2009

The overall look is gorgeous. I love the simple background and the mysterious atmosphere created by the darkness and the light effects.
I never expected sakura petals brushes to actually look good on anything, but you used them very well, even those shattered glass-like shapes look great <3
However, the only problem are the rough lines. In full view Byakuya's outlines and shadow lines are all really jagged. If you could gently smudge this roughness away with Smudge tool at 2% this wall would be simply one of the best Byakuya wallpapers ever <3

  3. GeneDNC Jun 28, 2009

I would have liked to see Byakuya vectored, with smoother lines. That would make the wallpaper really great.

    I completely agree with Sakura-Dust.
The ONLY thing keeping this from going into my favorites is the jagged-ness of Byakuya's outline.

cool!nice edit! especially the pink petals

This looks so awesome. The sakura petals look so pretty. Though smoother lines would make Byakuya look a lot better.

Very nice wall. It caught my eye immediately. I like the emphasis and sharpness of the petals and the contrast against the black background. It brings out its razor yet delicate feel. A little suggestion / feedback, perhaps some work could be done to liven his eyes. The shade and tone remind me of dying or dead characters in the anime...you know...that glazed kind of look.

Other than that minor note...its a lovely wall! Thank you for sharing! =)
