Last work for a while
This is something simple I did while taking a break from all the current projects I'm working on.
I've been vectoring more than usual these past 2 months and I'm afraid to say I need to stop for a while...
If you take a look at the original scan, you'll notice I changed her face and reconstructed the missing parts. She looks
more innocent and young now ^_^'
I actually was going to use colored lines for these, but in the end, got too lazy, and since she has this long, blonde hair I think the lines wouldn't be too visible.
It's one of the easiest things I've done, but what I really wanted to do was painting. Ueda Ryo's style is so good for that. I love these Alice illustrations he has <33
Since I'm not so good at painting, I was a bit scared when painting her hair, and decided not to paint it according to the scan but to go with my way of doing it. I specially enjoyed painting the little hat :3
Vectored some last hour petals and used the Burn tool to give them depth. I also blurred some of them since not all petals are close to her.
The title is pretty simple too, I'm awful when it comes to picking titles. It translates to "Alice's Dream".

She looks so cute! I like how you can't really tell what she's doing, but she looks happy...actually I just had an image of her playing a harp, since her hands are like that ^^
Nice job with the painting, don't get me started on how badly I suck at painting...(I'm just grouchy because there's a wall I should have finished months ago but haven't because I can't paint it...gah)
I think I would have liked the petals better if they were bigger and rounder, but it looks nice how it is also, it's not something that would bother me ^^
Overall a pretty wall that gives a feeling of playful innocence.

i think the painting is fantastic esp her hands (im ten thousand times lazy with hands) and her clothes look amazing. why cant my clouds look normal like yours >_<
i think the petals are a bit too small? esp in the front they should be bigger. and also sometimes things in front of the main focus are also blurred, dont know if that helps.
and in general i think the bg and the petals are too .. gray >_< i want a really bright colored bg for this awesomely sweet vector. i loveeee alice!
