Here I bring the latest failure of mine. :)
Despite being the 17th vector already, I still can't
do it right. o_O
THE ORIGINAL
"SCAN" (if I can call it a scan).
This is the back of the special card from "CLAMP in Cardland".
I couldn't find a bigger version so I used this to vector.
I had to say that it was really hard to reconstruct the whole thing since
when I enlarged it so much everything became a big mess. The lines and the colors
were unclear, so technically this vector was based on almost nothing.
Making the outlines was a pain in a**, C.C. had lots of lines for her hair (so typical for CLAMP... X_X).
Lulu was easy, 'cause C.C. was covering him, so nothing very special.
The coloring was fun (except C.C.'s hair: D) and done without any references.
The most time was lost with their hair and choosing the right color. I'm not very happy with the
choices I made. Waahh...who cares...what is done is done...:(
Nothing to say about the bg really, just tried to make it look similar at the original one…
This is the best result I can do (unfortunately for you :)).
I know that somebody could have done it thousand times better than me.:*
That's it for now... (After big disappointment that I faced at looking at this vector)--:)

lol i feel like theres a higher quality scan of this floating around MT or AP but anyways
dont be so hard on yourself! this is a very nice, clean vector. and it obviously took alot of energy because everything is very neatly done. i <3 c.c's eyelashes to death in your rendition xD. there are a very shaky lines in c.c's hair but i mean honestly who doenst have shaky lines when they draw c.c? and theres a tiny bit of jaggedness although i dont know if blurring would make the vector worse.
keep up the good work! and dont be so negative xD

Oh holy crap. I wanted to vector this "scan" but it was so PUNY. I admire you for vectoring something so tiny.
C.C`s eye lash are just like o_o
There are places where you lines gets really shaky and inconsistent but there`s not alot. The colors are great but C.C`s eyes` color are a bit dull but who really cares. I also think Lelouch`s face looks weird but maybe that`s just me.
lol. You shouldn`t doubt yourself like that. I mean, you got such a great vector out of such a PUNY scan.

I also think Lulu's face is a bit strange...also,his face color is a little too yellow...
some lines are a little strange,but overall,you did a cool job on vectoring such a small image...don't be too hard on yourself :) -

Very nice job. Don't worry, your work is most excellent. The only thing I can say is to be careful with the black because it makes it look flat. However, The black actrully works in this Image so it really doesnt matter at all. I'll be adding this one to my collection xD
