Viletta is one of my favorite characters in Code Geass because shes just so pretty! and i love this scan of her. The outlines took a really long time but the coloring was really annoying, especially trying to fix some of the color leakage that came from blurring for the highlights. The gaussian blur I used has a weird texture but I couldnt figure out which blur to use. used outerglow for the green effect on viletta's face.

Their faces dont have much detail although I wanted to have more details on the eyes. I used a screenshot for reference but it just looked weird so i just left them dimensionless. Also -tried- to replicate the screen in the background but it also looked strange so it'll just be depthless for now. I feel like i really need to download some interesting brushes and textures but i am too lazy to go search for them

the thumbnail is so ugly though --"

edit | omg i cant believe its in the elite gallery :D

Quote by MargaletI love the way you recreated the scan, those effects are awesome! Especially on Villetta, looking really nice!
How did you make them? If you don't mind telling me, of course :) Is it just gaussian blur and outer glow?

yeap, i gaussian blurred the highlights and then used an outerglow and then rasterized the layers so i could clip the parts that leaked from the outline. XD

This is my favorite vector of yours. The lines are just love. You really improved so much. The lighting effect are like O.O so great job. I would`ve never pulled this vector off. And it`s interesting to see how you used the gaussian blur to color the highlights.
    A well deserved elite. ;]

Very nice improvement from the others,
no jagged lines and the colors are just beautiful.
Great job, hope to see more like this.
