well it's official... i'm done with high school. this wall is sort of a symbolism of that.

of classmate of mine and i were talking about majors and somehow it came to the point where we were talking about architecture. so that's where the blue vectored outlines come from. it was deadly trying to vector the buildings. as you can see from the one to the left, the lines were getting sooo close. and the right building had windows in all of them. i practically died trying to do all of them. oh man.

the white stuff is from the fourth episode before ikki battles buccha. ringo shoes him the AT pass where you would know the layout of the area. in the episode it is used as a major aspect of the battle. of course, none of the writing make sense. and arrows? good luck trying to decipher them. this idea of basing it off of the episode was from mnemeth.

thus the name of the title metro.design came in.

metro as in city.
design as in the blue print of the buildings.
..why cool you ask? because the colors used [blue hues and green hues] are considered cool [compared to it's counter parts, yellow and orange, which are considered warm/hot]

when i decided to use kilik as the main character of this wall, i practically died [yet again] when i saw how dirty the scan was. so like a little dork, i sat and vectored him and his bah-jillion accessories. the hair and the shirt are okay, but as soon as i got to the watches, the belt, and below, i had to walk around a bit because my butt became sore. XD

nice design ^^ I like the perspective and colours :) nice vectoring job on teh buildings, they kinda look like architectural blueprints. Though the foreground and background don't connect as much as it should.. maybe use dark navy blue outlines instead of black? (nice vectoring btw)

Oh. My. Gawd. AIR GEAR FTW! Mmm, what a sexy Kilik I see thar.

Yeah. I lovvvvvvve the design except for the text because personally, I think it turns it from cool-perspective-wall into architectural-design-commission. The back splotch thing behind the text isn't helping either.

But gawd, Cold War Kids and DTB opening in your music list... I approve :3

If you upload the Kilik vector by itself, that would be nice <3

WOW! it looks so awesome you came along way from writings on the wall lol :D
its looks so awesome and clean good job!

Ah, Cold War Kids.... <3
Anywho, the wall, funky perspective and such,
everything is awesome, except the text, as aplastictree
stated, it totally changes the mood, anywho, nicely done

KIaa i love blue! I like how do you use the blue... the sky is pretty
^-^Good job

Have to agree with kawaii-chicken and aplastictree, the text.. doesn't fit.. And I wish the lines from the houses would be cleaner, but that's just me xD
Great job!

Amazing work and truly... I like it! You did great background and I love details of this wallie. Nice chara ^^

Oh wow I want to like double triple fav this! This is fantastic! So many of the Air Gear walls are all abstract and going for style whereas this one seems to be more based on a theme/mood. It's a welcome change of pace! ^^ And I am in awe that you managed to vector this image without going crazy. I am trying to vector a building right now myself and I've gotten to the "I hate windows" point. ^_^;

Who is he?
