Finally - the last of my w?w entries. Originally this started out because I wanted a coloured version of this black and white scan.
Vectoring and painting Fei-sama was far and away the hardest thing I'd ever tried to do in a wall, but I'd had a big shot of confidence after trying the same technique on the girl in my 'Smile' wall, with what I thought were pretty good results. ^_^ Digital painting is a lot of fun, though there were parts where I REALLY wished I had a tablet. Failing that though, I discovered that masking with the pen tool is my best friend.
I attempted to vector the dragon as well, but that wasn't working out too well and I ended up using the original scan and messing around with it so that although it looked noticeably different from the rest of Feilong, it still seemed to fit in with everything.
I was quite happy with how Feilong turned out, and had high hopes for turning it
into a good wall, but I couldn't convert them. 
I
think the background is a cop-out. I just hope that if I keep on walling and
trying to do new things I'll get better at the creative/design part of
things.
It was nice to indulge my inner bishie-lover again, though.

I love this one the moment I saw it! ^^ Great vectoring on the hair and the details. I esp like the way you did his clothes, the shading looks perfect ^^ and I thought you vectored the dragon too, it looks seamless ^^
I like the background, the colours are nice, esp like how it looks like light is filtering from the right ^^

This wall almost makes me wish I was one of those rabid fangirls so I could say "zomgosh! it is sooooo fantastic and I looove it!111" without sounds like an idiot (not that I wouldn't sound like a idiot anyway but whatever

So yes I LOVE this wallpaper, omgosh you put me to shame it is so awesome. Although when I saw this wall in the W?W contest I knew it was yours right away, although it is so different from your other walls I'm a little shocked I even thought that.
Oh and personally I find that nice vectors are hard to come up with
good background for, it's like all your creativity dies from making the
vector/drawing. 
I had no idea this was from a b&w scan until just now when I read your description... and now all I can think is wow! Stunning job... the coloring job just looks so professional, and the soft Asian-style bg looks lovely xD
