Ta-da, my newest vector! I didn't have a lot to do this weekend so I figured I'd try and complete another vector project, and I succeeded. Why did I choose to vector this picture? Not sure. I love Lacus and Meer and this is a great picture of both of them, plus I've never seen it vectored.
This vector wasn't as easy as it looks. The lines of the scan were kind of vague, and after blowing up the scan they became even harder to see, so I had to refer to the original a lot. And I was worried about how the colouring on the hair would turn out, but it looks alright, I think. (Don't they both have the coolest hair colour ever?)
The hardest part was Lacus's fingers! Please don't look at them! No really, don't look! *Hides face* Oh well, after redoing them a million times this is the best I could get. Not *super* horrible...
I hope you enjoy this vector! And if you like Lacus and Meer, I'm already partially done my next vector, which is another one of Lacus and Meer! So you can look forward to that ^_^.

(I vectored them seperately, but put them together as one vector in the end. It looks nicer when they're together. And I thought Lacus would take longer because she was harder to do but I was wrong.)

I fixed the tips of Lacus's hair (I had two layers mixed up, tsk tsk), thanks to entity1660 for first poitning it out.
And I separated the two so Lacus is no longer covering Meer, at moonescape's advice. :) I left the colours pretty much
the same because I think they fit. (Oh, and I had to redo the shadow :P)

Oi, only I can do Gundam SEED vectors! Me! XD Just kidding, I still love your vectors. =3 I can see your problem about the colors. Have you tried to darken the image by leveling it? Just go to Image>Adjustment>Auto Levels. Or you can saturate the colors if they seem dull. That's what I do with most of my vectors. =3
Oooh, and I see some color leakage near Lacus's hair ends. >3

I don't see any problem with the colouring. I think it's really well done.
Very safe outlining, bold lines and everything. Nice work with the eyes too. Yea, like Entity said, there's a white space on a certain part of Lacus' hair.
Well, you actually have your own style for the background. Nice job. -
Darn! I was about to vector that. >.< Well at least I never started on it so it isn't that bad. :)
I like how you made the outlines bold, but I think there should've tried to put some details on Lacus's eye and eyelashes like Meers. There's another scan where you can see a closer up version on their eyes and it really does help. :D
Actually I agree with entity here that the colors looks quite too bright. I usually take darker color from other images because the scan of it can sometimes be incorrect. Though I never tried what entity said about auto levels and saturate. That's something new. :o
I know what you mean. I suck at vectoring the fingers or hand. I just can't do them well. ^_^'
Just a suggestion I thnik you should've tried to seperate Meer and Lacus because it's not very hard trying to make up extended lines or a little on her hair for Meer. It's the area Where Meer and Lacus overlap each other if you don't know what I mean.And the reason why I say you should've tried to seperate them a little is because what if someone only wanted to use one of them, but not both?
Well that's all I have to say and keep it up. Your already getting the hang of it alraedy in vectoring. ;)
